Cutting with water, combined with abrasives
is a technology that has been in use in industry since 1982,
however, until recent controller and software advances, abrasive
jet machining was used mainly for low tolerance cutting of simple
shapes. QTM Incorporated now offers the fastest, most precise
abrasivejet machining services in the industry. With our Omax
abrasive jet machining center, we are able to cut virtually
any material up to 2" thick, with tolerances as close as
+/- .005". We can cut any quantity from a single prototype
to full production runs economically due to minimal setup time,
and we can cut shapes as large as 55" x 100".
